Title of Site: Soft SchoolLevel: IntermediateURL: http://www.softschools.com/Title of Game: Balloon Pronoun Game – Identify PronounsSummary of the Site: The website has games for different subjects such as mathematics, science, social studies, phonics and language arts. This website also has Spanish and French games. It is also a great tool for teachers providing them with websites to go to. It also has quizzes to test your knowledge. This is a great website for learning but could be made more appealing for children. The labels are colorful however the links for the games are not. Regardless of the lack of color this website is very accessible for children in any setting.Summary of the Game: Balloon Pronoun Game is a game to identify the pronouns. Before the game begins it tells you what pronouns are and directions on how to play the game. Another option you can control is the speed of the balloons. When you click the start button balloons pop up with words that are either a noun or a pronoun. If you hover the arrow over the balloon it gives you an example with the word in a sentence. The game keeps track of the number of pronoun balloons you pop, how many you get wrong and how many you missed. At the end of the game it tells you the words you got wrong and that they are nouns.Color: This game is very colorful and would appeal to children.Repetition: The start button is always the same.Talking Text: There is no talking text however it does make a noise whenever you click a balloon.Mistakes:It keeps track of the number of mistakes you make at the top and when the game is over shows you what words you got wrong and tells you what they are.Visual Cues: The balloons float moving upward into the sky and as you click on one of the balloons you either get a point correct, wrong or missed.Rating:N/AHighlighted Cues: The only highlighted cue is at the end of the game the play again button turns from green to red.Navigation Routine: There is an option to start again while you are playing and it restarts the game. This particular game is to learn multiples. This website is very colorful, plays music, talks, and has many options. Summary of the Game:Sleeboz Stampede is a game to learn multiples. For example, it would have multiples of 2 and a bunch of numbers floating you can click on that are multiples of two, and some are not. As you click one of the correct multiples it keeps score. Before you click the start game option, there is a button that says options. In the options you can control how much time you have (30 seconds, 1 minute or 2 minutes), the number of points you get for a correct answer, the speed, the number of which multiples you would like to choose from (2, 3, 4, 5, 7), and number of boxes. It also has an option for instructions. Color: This game is very colorful. Repetition: The start button is red and when you hover over it the button turns green. In the beginning and end it asks the same questions. (start, instructions, and options) Talking Text:N/A Mistakes:This game does not acknowledge mistakes the way it should. When you get an answer correct it makes a funny noise but when you get a answer wrong it doesn’t make a noise. Visual Cues: N/A

This game Is very colorful and designed well for kids. You can very easily tell what you are clicking on because when you hover over an image or word it changes color in some form.Summary of the Game: This is a language arts game that helps children decipher if the word is an antonym, synonym, or homonym of the word shown on the frog. When you click on the start button it automatically gives you directions of the game. It also gives you a picture giving you an example of what you will see. After reading these instructions you click the next button which gives you instructions on how to fire the frogs tongue to catch the word. Afterwards you click next again and it gives you the option to pick if you want to work on antonyms, synonyms, or homonyms and the speed which you would like to do. (slow, normal, and fast) After you choose your options you click next which brings you to a start menu where you choose start. At the end of the game it tells you what the right answer is and what you chose. It gives you the option to play again, main menu and details.
